About RM Island Pharmacy

Dr. Marina Samborsky is a licensed pharmacist and owner of RM Island Pharmacy in Brooklyn, New York. With over two decades of experience in pharmacy practice, she is dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care and helping individuals better understand and manage their health.

Originally from Ukraine, Dr. Samborsky came to the United States at the age of 18 without speaking English. Through determination and academic dedication, she earned an Associate Degree in Chemistry from Middlesex County College and went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn. She has been a licensed pharmacist in multiple states, including New Jersey, California, and New York.  

At RM Island Pharmacy, Dr. Samborsky works closely with patients to ensure safe and effective medication use, improve adherence, and provide guidance on a wide range of health concerns. She is committed to building strong relationships within the community and believes that pharmacy care should go beyond dispensing medications—it should empower patients with knowledge, trust, and ongoing support.

In addition to her work in pharmacy, Dr. Samborsky is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Apollon Nutrition, where she applies her pharmaceutical expertise to the development of high-quality health and wellness products. Her combined clinical and real-world experience allows her to take a comprehensive approach to patient care, focusing on both treatment and prevention
